Web3 Game Accelerator Launches in Singapore with 31 Potential Projects Gathering in the Lion City
The Web3 Game Accelerator successfully held offline courses in Singapore
From March 13 to 16, a four-day offline course focused on Web3 gaming was held in Singapore. Representatives from 31 selected projects gathered in the Lion City to participate in this in-depth Web3 gaming acceleration course and study tour.
As the industry's first vertical accelerator focused on Web3 gaming, this event attracted entrepreneurs from around the world who are passionate about this field. Through a rigorous selection process, 31 of the most promising projects stood out and were given the opportunity to participate. Over the four days in Singapore, participants not only accessed cutting-edge industry information but also received one-on-one guidance from experienced mentors, and had the opportunity to visit well-known local Web3 institutions and engage in face-to-face exchanges with industry leaders about the entrepreneurial experiences and insights in Web3 gaming.
This offline course is rich in content, including 9 entrepreneurship classes, 1 one-on-one in-depth communication guidance session with a mentor, and 1 Demo Day. The course system balances theory and practice, covering both industry outlook and practical implementation.
At the industry outlook level, several senior mentors provided wonderful insights. One mentor delved into the core differences between blockchain game design and traditional game design, guiding students to think about the potential breakout points of chain games. Another mentor introduced the development trends of the web3 industry, helping startup teams avoid risks. Additionally, one mentor conducted an in-depth analysis of the current state and future trends of the Web3 gaming market, assisting students in better grasping industry dynamics.
In terms of practical implementation, the course covers several key topics including Web3 economic model design, cryptocurrency market-making strategies, Web3 security risk prevention, and marketing strategies. Notably, two mentors from a well-known technology company explored the infinite possibilities of the integration of cloud technology and Web3 gaming from the perspective of cloud computing.
On the last day of the event, one-on-one in-depth exchanges were arranged between the students and their mentors, along with a project roadshow at the Asia-Pacific headquarters of a certain technology company. The mentors provided targeted professional advice and acceleration plans based on the characteristics and progress of each student's project.
In addition to the formal courses, the organizers also carefully arranged interactive sessions such as post-class cocktail parties and mentor-student group meetings. In these occasions, students, mentors, and industry experts engaged in in-depth exchanges, sharing entrepreneurial insights, expanding networking resources, and laying the foundation for future collaborations.
Many participants expressed that the organization of the event was very professional, and the insights gained will have a positive impact on the future development of their projects after the course ended. The mentors also highly praised the depth of understanding and innovative thinking demonstrated by the students in the Web3 gaming industry, believing that these projects showcase the strength and potential of the current web3 gaming sector.
2024 is seen as a pivotal year for the development of the Web3 industry and the best time for web3 gaming to thrive after a period of accumulation. This six-month acceleration program not only provides support for the growth and development of participating projects but also brings new ideas and opportunities for entrepreneurship in the entire gaming industry.
With the successful conclusion of the offline courses in Singapore, the next phase of the accelerator program will take place in Hong Kong. In the coming months, the mentors will continue to follow up on the progress of the participants, providing targeted guidance and tailoring incubation plans for the projects, promoting the healthy development of the projects of the participants. At the same time, the organizers also welcome institutions, experts, and developers from the web3 industry to actively participate in the upcoming Demo Day event in Hong Kong, to have face-to-face exchanges with outstanding web3 gaming projects.
