Standard Chartered Bank has launched BTC and ETH spot trading, becoming the first major global bank to offer such services.

On July 15, Standard Chartered Bank launched spot trading services for Bitcoin and Ether through its UK branch for institutional clients to meet the rising demand for encryption assets.

Standard Chartered Bank stated that it has become the first globally systemically important bank to provide deliverable Bitcoin and Ethereum spot trading services, with secure, compliant, and scalable access capabilities.
