A Disruptive Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) Announcement Came From One of Europe's Largest Banks!
According to a report by Reuters, the Spanish banking giant BBVA has provided cryptocurrency investment advice to its high net worth clients.
Accordingly, Spain's second-largest bank BBVA advised its customers to invest up to 7% in cryptocurrencies.
Philippe Meyer, Head of Digital and Blockchain Solutions at BBVA Switzerland, stated that since September 2024, they have been advising their high-net-worth clients to allocate up to 7% of their portfolios to cryptocurrencies.
The bank suggests a crypto allocation between 3% and 7% based on the client's risk appetite.
Meyer stated that BBVA currently primarily recommends its clients to invest in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), but they will expand their crypto advisory scope to include other altcoins later this year.
